Course Description
Angular is a JavaScript based framework used for building applications for mobile, the Web and the desktop. It is built with Typescript by Google. It is an open-source application and helps us in building dynamic and single page applications. It is a development platform through which users can develop the web with greater speed and testability. It is also used in applications and sites such as Google Cloud, AdWords, etc.
The first version of Angular, known as version 1.0 was released in 2012.An employee with Google started working on Angular in 2009 and since the concept became a success, Google officially supported it. Compared to other languages and applications, Angular is easy to learn. Anyone with a very basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript can learn Angular with minimal effort and in a very short span of time. The advantage with Angular is that it does not require you to learn a new language and in spite of that, features like static typing, decorators, namespaces, interfaces, etc. are still available to you. Hence there is no question of reinventing the wheel here.
The testing process becomes very simple when you use Angular and it supports both Unit and end to end testing. In the present era, where most of them are mobile users, Angular is very helpful as it is the only framework which can be used for multiple platforms. Once you learn the basics of JavaScript, it is easy to learn Angular as its learning curve is not too steep and users can then use it to test and develop large applications easily.
The code in Angular is structured with a lot of focus on ease and convenience and so beginners need not spend too much time to understand what is happening beneath the code. Though it is based on JavaScript, it is in fact, better than it and it has a lot of tools to start creating applications. It is an application which is maintained regularly and hence supported by a large community and an ecosystem.
